How long will my home take to complete?
Actual construction times can vary greatly, and really depend on the amenities you choose for your home. But to give you an idea, count on at least 6 months build time. Also, take into account the planning stages; working on the blueprints and all your design options, finding the perfect location, establishing the financing, obtaining permits, etc...

Do you work from a standard set of plan?
Every project we build is unique and for this reason, we do not have standard plans. We can build from your plans and ideas, or we can locate a pre-designed home plan to fit your needs. Almost every design can be altered to meet your specifications; don't settle on on a design that's just close, let us help make your home perfect!

How much does it cost to build a custom home?
It is nearly impossible to accurately provide a quote without finalized plans, detailed specifications, and land details. However, a number to help give you an idea is roughly $150 per square foot, so a 2500 square foot home should be in the $375,000 range. Contact us to discuss your ideas and to set up a preliminary budget. No construction will begin until a final budget is established and approved by you.

Where do you build?
We have the resources and ability to build your new home anywhere in Golden, Denver, and beyond, from Castle Rock to Longmont to Breckenridge, Colorado.

How is my home insured against loss or claims while under construction?
The Augusta Group carries full Business Liability and Workmen's Compensation policies. Additionally, every sub-contractor that works for us is required to have the same coverage. We also suggest securing a 'Builder's Risk' policy specific to your project for the duration of construction activities. Lastly, we have jobsite safety policies which are enforced daily by our Project Managers.

We are pretty handy, can we do part of the work ourselves?
